North Korea's Top Professional Soccer Division Concludes
Pyongyang Crowned as 2021-2022 Champions
Pyongyang has emerged victorious in the recently concluded 2021-2022 DPRK Premier Football League, North Korea's top men's professional soccer division.
The DPRK Premier Football League is operated under the auspices of the Korean Football Association (KFA), which also oversees the North Korea national football team and the North Korea women's national football team.
The league season ran from October 2021 to October 2022 and featured a first division (DPR Korea Premier Football League) and a second division. Pyongyang finished atop the standings in the first division, securing the league title.
The KFA extended its congratulations to Pyongyang for their triumph and praised the high level of competition throughout the season.
