Chelsea Vanessa Peretti (born February 20, 1978) is an American comedian, actress, television writer, singer, and songwriter. She is best known for her portrayal of Gina Linetti in the FOX sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013-2021).Career
Peretti began her career in entertainment as a stand-up comedian in 2007. She gained recognition for her appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Sarah Silverman Program. In 2011, she released her debut comedy album, Chelsea Peretti: One of the Greats. In 2013, Peretti joined the cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Gina Linetti, a sarcastic and eccentric civilian administrator. Her performance earned her widespread critical acclaim and a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2016. Peretti has also appeared in several films and television shows, including Game Night (2018), The Good Place (2018), and Russian Doll (2019).
