Swedish Doom Metal Legends Return with Crushing New Album
Sorcerer, the Swedish doom metal masters, are set to release their highly anticipated fourth album, Reign of the Reaper, on June 24th, 2023. The album will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital platforms via Metal Blade Records.
Reign of the Reaper is the follow-up to Sorcerer's acclaimed 2019 album Lamenting of the Innocent. The album was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, and was produced by Fredrik Nordström (Arch Enemy, In Flames). The album features crushing doom metal with a twist, showcasing the band's signature blend of heavy riffs, soaring melodies, and haunting vocals.
Since the recording of the album, drummer Richard Evensand has left the band and has been replaced by Stefan. Sorcerer live up to their reputation with the outstanding doom metal release of Reign of the Reaper.
